The General Service Committee is made up of AA members who come together to support our Fellowship and keep us connected. Our purpose is simple: to help carry the message of recovery by making sure every group has a voice and every member knows they are part of something bigger. Through service, we share experience, strength, and hope—not just in our meetings, but across districts, areas, and the General Service Conference. Whether you’re new to AA or have been around for years, the work of this committee helps ensure that Alcoholics Anonymous continues to grow, remain united, and be there for the alcoholic who still suffers.
