Welcome to the East Valley Intergroup!
Your Group’s Voice
Every A.A. group is welcome to participate in the East Valley Intergroup (EVI).
The Intergroup Representative is your home group’s voice, helping ensure that our Intergroup Service Office carries out its Primary Purpose.
Our Primary Purpose
Our mission is simple: to help alcoholics find A.A. meetings and support newcomers in recovery. We do this by providing vital services to the fellowship and the community, including:
- 24-Hour Hotline – answering calls day and night to connect newcomers with help and hope.
- Literature & Resources – stocking A.A. Conference-approved literature and other recovery materials including sobriety tokens. This includes the AA Grapevine, meeting in print.
- Service Office – maintaining an office to coordinate 12-Step calls and service opportunities.
- Meeting Directory – keeping an up-to-date online directory and publishing a printed version each year.
- Monthly Newsletter – publishing The No Booze News to share news, events, and resources.
- Community Outreach – responding to inquiries from outside organizations and the media about Alcoholics Anonymous.
- Volunteer Support – coordinating the 12-Step service work of Intergroup volunteers.
